Beverly Hillbillies: Paul Henning's wildly successful 1960's sitcom comes to the stage in this adaptation by D. D. Brooke. The Clampetts, led by patriarch Jed, find themselves suddenly wealthy when the OK Oil Company learns of the oil reserves under the family's swamp property in the Ozarks. Suddenly, the loving if unsophisticated family finds itself living in Beverly Hills next to Jed's banker Milburn Drysdale. With sincerity and laughs, Jed, his ornery mother Daisy Mae “Granny” Moses, his tomboy daughter Elly May and his cousin's half-witted son Jethro learn to negotiate the often ostentatious world of California's high society.
