City of Angels: This multiple Tony award winning musical, set in the glamour of 1940's Hollywood, follows two storylines as they interweave, that of screenwriter Stine and that of his main character, private investigator Stone. Producer Buddy Fidler has commissioned Stine to create a screenplay, but keeps the writer on a tight creative string. As Stine works to compromise with Fidler, losing his wife Gabby in the process, Stone faces troubles with his latest job for socialite Alaura Kingsley.
