Death of a Salesman

Death of a Salesman: Arthur Miller's 1949 Pulitzer and Tony award winning drama centers around aging salesman Willy Loman, who is upset that his eldest son Biff never became the great athlete or businessman he promised to be in high school. Concerned for his mental state and general health, Willy's wife Linda convinces Willy to ask his boss Howard Wagner for a position that would keep him home rather than on the road. When Willy's request results in the termination of his employment and Biff's most recent attempt to make Willy proud fails, the two men drudge up old memories and accusations. In a final effort to give Biff and his younger son Happy a new financial opportunity, Willy makes a drastic decision.
