Curtains: Kander and Ebb's murder mystery musical, with a book by Rupert Holmes and based on Peter Stone's original concept, is set in 1959 Boston. The not so talented diva of Robbin' Hood of the Old West, Jessica Cranshaw, is murdered during opening night and the detective sent to investigate, Lt. Frank Cioffi, uses his extracurricular stage aspirations to solve the case, keep the show running and maybe even fall in love.
