No No Nanette: This early 1900's farcical musical comedy by Otto Harbach, Irving Ceasar, Frank Mandel and Vincent Youmans involves three couples who all end up at a cottage in Atlantic City in the midst of a blackmail scheme. Wealthy Jimmy Smith, unbeknownst to his frugal wife Sue, decides to act as a benefactor to three women, who have begun to blackmail him for more money. The couple's young ward Nanette is tired of being respectable and polite and decides to have some fun in the city.
