Oliver: Lionel Bart's long running musical, based on Charles Dickens' novel Oliver Twist, follows orphan Oliver as he is sold from a 1830's English workhouse, escapes from an apprenticeship with a cruel undertaker and is recruited by a group of child pickpockets.
