Powder Colorset

Price: $7.95
Price: $11.95
Powder colorset includes a traditional color setting powder which is super absorbent. Colorset setting powder’s  neutral/ translucent formula sets any cream makeup by absorbing excess oils. 1 oz.

This colorset powder is a finely milled neutral translucent powder used to matte the shiny finish and set greasepaint and oil based makeups.

It you are using a cream or oil based makeup there is no way around it Translucent Colorset Powder is a MUST! Without applying powder your make up stays “wet” ,meaning it will rub off on anything it touches. Also you will not be able to layer one color over another. The colors will just blend together and make a mess.

This product is simple to use. As with any makeup job begin with clean dry skin. It is recommended to then apply barrier spray. This is very useful to keep the oil from the make up out of your pores and to prevent staining from the pigments. The next step is to apply your first color. Now it is time to apply your powder. Sprinkle a small amount of powder on to your powder puff. Then using your finger spread the powder around to break up any clumps. Apply the powder using a gentle up and down patting motion. Do not wipe it on, that will only smear your work. Keep applying until the makeup will absorb no more powder. Once done, use a powder brush to remove any excess powder. You will notice that the color will have dulled - don’t panic, it is normal and easily fixed. The simplest method is to put on a bit of Barrier Spray, the moisture will make the colors pop again. If you are foregoing the Barrier Spray there is another option. Take a strong paper towel, fold into a square, and then add a small amount of water. You want it damp, not wet. Then use that to pat over the makeup in the same fashion that was used to apply the powder. You are now ready to apply your second color and then more powder. Basically any time you need to layer one color on top of another you must powder first. Once you are done with your makeup do one last powder to set everything. Again it is recommended to protect your hard work with a final coating of barrier spray.

Translucent colorset powder is perfect for any makeup job involving oil based makeup be it Glam, Stage, or Cosplay. This product is not tested on animals, Vegan, and proudly made in the U.S.A.
