Return Policy

Returns: The return of sale merchandise will not be accepted unless an authorization for it is first issued by The Costumer. All return shipments must be postmarked five days after receipt and/or delivery of your shipment. All returns MUST have a return authorization number on the outside of the box. On returned items buyer shall be responsible for shipping both ways. Unless we made an error, there will be a 15% restocking fee for all returned merchandise. Special orders cannot be returned for any reason.

Due to health regulations the following items cannot be exchanged or returned: makeup, wigs, hairgoods including beards and mustaches, eye lashes, dancewear, stockings, socks, prosthetics, fangs or any other fake teeth, and any item that has been worn or used. Returns will be not accepted for any open CD's/DVD's. We regret any inconvenience, but these are non-returnable because of sanitary and hygiene restrictions.


Returns must be unused, in original packaging and saleable.

All unauthorized returns will be refused.

Merchandise can only be authorized for return if we are notified prior to the opening date of your show.

Claims: Make your claims quickly! All claim errors, shortages, or damages must be made within 5 days after receipt of materials. If package is damaged in shipping, please contact us immediately. If a claim is not made within 5 days store credit will only be issued.

Special Orders: Special orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged.

Halloween Return Policy

For October 1st - November 1st

All Halloween Season return requests must be obtained by receiving a Return Authorization number no later than 5 PM (EST) October 15th

Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only, not including shipping and handling. There is a 15% restocking fee on all returns.Return Authorizations must be obtained by the close of business on October 15th. (5 PM EST). RA's may be obtained by calling 1-877-218-1289.

  • All orders that are shipped or delivered to the customer between October 10th - 31st are final.
  • All orders that are placed October 10th - 31st are final.
  • Orders that are placed between October 1st - 31st are subject to The Costumer's Halloween Return Policy.
  • Our regular return policy goes into effect for all items purchased after November 1st.

Please note that all returns must be sent via a trackable method. If you mail your return, it must have delivery confirmation on it. It is your (the customer's) responsibility to insure the returned item(s) in the event of loss or damage. Orders returned via mail without a delivery confirmation are considered unauthorized returns, and TheCostumer.com will not be responsible for refunding these returned items if there is no way to confirm receipt in our warehouse. Any returns that have not received a Return Authorization Number by October 15th will be considered unauthorized and will not be credited. All returns must have a Return Authorization Number clearly printed on the outside of the box. A Return Authorization Number may be obtained by calling 1-877-218-1289.

All returns must be received in new/unused condition with all of the original packaging. Any damage or shortage must be reported when requesting a Return Authorization Number. Any returns found to be short of items will be credited minus the missing item(s). Any returns that do not include all original packaging will be given half credit because they cannot be resold as new. Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only, not including shipping and handling. There is a 15% restocking fee on all returns.
