These hair pieces have a lace backing, they require either theatrical adhesive tape or spirit gum to apply. Theatrical adhesive tape is designed for short term wear or when you need to be able to apply or remove the hair piece quickly such as quick changes in theatre. Spirit gum gives you a more realistic look but takes time to apply and remove (hint: use spirit gum remover to speed up the process and to clean the hair piece after to extend it’s life). You should be able to get at least 6 – 8 uses from each hair piece if they are cleaned and dried after use.
Synthetic is the most economical solution to hair pieces; from a distance they have the look of human hair making it great for theatrical productions that are on a budget. These hair pieces are still on a lace backing but can’t be dyed but you can use a permeant marker to add color to them.
