Jane Eyre: Based on the novel by Charlotte Bronte. Jane Eyre, as a young child, rebels against her guardian’s abuse, who subsequently sends her to boarding school. At school she flourishes, and grows to become a teacher. However, she yearns to see more of the world, and she takes a job as a governess in the gloomy home of Mr. Rochester. As a governess, she discovers more than freedom. She and Mr. Rochester grow close, but secrets from his past threaten their future.
